2026 Season
Welcome to all our new and returning players! We’re gearing up for another action-packed season, and we can’t wait to hit the courts at MainPower Stadium and Dudley Park once again. Signing up for the 2026 season couldn’t
be easier—just follow the link under “2026 Registration” on our website to get started. This year, Kaiapoi Netball Club has made a few updates to our invoicing system, including a clear breakdown of fees and subscription costs, so you’ll know exactly what’s what.
Premiers will continue to play on a Thursday evening game times being – 6.30pm and 8.00pm
Senior Reserve Grade will be playing 12-minute quarters again this season game times being between - 8am and 6pm
All other Grade Teams including Senior Grade will be as per normal playing between 8am and 6pm on Saturdays
Future Fern Teams years 7-8 playing at Dudley Park on Saturdays between - 10am and 3pm
Future Ferns Teams years 5-6 will play on Saturdays between - 10am and 3pm
Future Ferns Teams years 3-4 will play on Thursday & Fridays: between 3.30pm – 6pm
2026 registration for Kaiapoi Netball Club will be open from 12/01/2026 and will close on 15/02/2026
Registering is easily done online at www.kaiapoinetball.co.nz – if you are unable to complete the online registration form, please contact our administrator Abby on 022 033 7273, or please contact us directly on our Facebook page/messenger.
When you have completed the online registration, you will receive an email including policies, rules and season invoice.
Please note the registration fee needs to be paid 7 days before trials before 5pm or your invoice due date whichever is first, if you haven’t paid your registration fee you WILL NOT be able to trial and this will be strictly enforced.
PAYMENT OPTIONS ARE AVALIABLE!!!
‘Pay and Play’ 10 weeks of evenly split payments
Pay and Play option is available for everyone! Please note this is only for your Subscription cost! Your registration and uniform bond are still required prior to your pay and play plan starting. Please contact Abby on the club email or contact number before 15/02/2026 to sign your contract
NO LATE REGISTRATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED. Names may be put on a waiting list and only contacted if a space becomes available.

We are very aware that this is an expensive time of the year, if this causes financial hardship, please contact info@kaiapoinetball.co.nz prior to registration to work out a payment option.

**Family Discount Explained: A family discount will apply when there are 2 or more members from a family that all reside at the same address. If you want to see if this is appropriate for your family, please reach out to Abby to find out.

TRIALS INFORMATION:
We are pleased to announce our Trial Dates for the 2026 Season!
All Trials will be held indoors 😊
This season we will be holding Premier & Senior, Grade & Future Fern Trials on same days but DIFFERENT times.
Please ensure you have paid you registration fee on time to be able to trial.
All trials are held at Kaiapoi High School please make sure you're on time and give yourself enough time to sign in. If you're unable to make trials, please inform Abby on 022 033 7273 as soon as you can it is expected for you to be able to attend all trials appropriate to you unless informed otherwise.
If you are unsure if you want to trial for Premier or Grade, please attend both to give yourself a fair chance at trailing!
Trials will be run a lot like our 2nd trial date last season.
1. Sign in at the door and get your allocated number written on you – ensure you arrive 10-15 mins early to ensure trials can start on time
2. Warm up – there will be plenty of balls and equipment to use
3. Some drills will be used at the end of warm up from our season players
4. Check the whiteboard for your bib colour and position – be sure to check continuously as changes will be made on the board frequently

PRACTICE – PREMIERS, GRADE & FUTURE FERNS
All KNC teams will train on Tuesday evenings. Coaches will receive allocated time slots once teams are named to ensure fair court access for everyone. Training will be held at the Kaiapoi High School outdoor courts beside the carpark.
WE REQUIRE NEW COMMITTEE MEMBERS!!!
If you can spare a couple of hours per month we would very much appreciate it! Being part of the Kaiapoi Netball committee can be very rewarding. It is 1 meeting per month for roughly 1 hour. We are after any new ideas and input
COACHES/UMPIRES/MANAGERS
As always we require coaches, umpires and managers for all grades, support will be given! If you are interested in coaching, co-coaching, umpiring or managing please fill in our Expression of Interest form online (link below) – or message Facebook page. Please note we cannot register teams with North Canterbury without a coach. We will be running coaching courses to assist you with coaching.
